   ADAPTATION PERSONNELLE DE QUELQUES AIRS DE COUNTRY MUSIC

        La musique country est un style musical que j'affectionne depuis ma jeunesse, c'est dire que cet amour ne date pas d'hier. C'est probablement né de ma passion pour les westerns et les road-movies.   

        Lors d'un voyage dans l'ouest du Canada en 2001, j'ai pu acquérir une bonne collection de disques d'artistes américains et canadiens. Des anciens bien sûr tels que Dolly PARTON, Emmylou HARRIS, Don WILLIAMS, Waylong JENNINGS, Willie NELSON...), mais aussi quelques uns de la génération d'après ( Garth BROOKS, Vince GILL, John DENVER, BELLAMY Brothers, Shania TWAIN, Faith HILL, Trisha YEARWOOD...). 

   Je me suis plongé dans cet univers musical, préférant les originaux aux adaptations françaises. Je n'ai pas pu résister au désir de faire quelques arrangements et de me livrer à quelques interprétations.  

     Six orchestrations sur les vingt-quatre proposées ont été réalisées par des artistes que je tiens à remercier. S'ils passent sur cette page, ils se reconnaîtront. Je m'excuse pour l'accent, qui reste le point le plus difficile à régler.
